Job Duties: 

We are currently hiring an Accounting & Vendor Risk Analyst — a strategic role that combines accounting expertise, vendor compliance oversight, and business intelligence reporting to drive smarter decision-making across the organization. The Accounting & Vendor Risk Analyst will assist with core accounting processes and manage Emerson’s vendor risk program while also leveraging Power BI to create dynamic dashboards and reports. This role requires a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual with a solid foundation in accounting and a proactive mindset toward process improvement and compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in construction or a related industry. Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Oracle). Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, modeling) and working knowledge of Power BI. Experience in vendor risk management, AP processing, and 1099 compliance. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement.
