PRESENTATION SUMMARY

With the worsening talent shortage, the landscape has shifted to a job-seekers labor market. Many businesses are struggling to fill positions and compete in this tight market. It seems as though job seekers can have their pick of open positions! The reality is that barriers to employment still exist for many people, such as those with disabilities or criminal backgrounds. Removing these barriers to employment meaningfully changes lives, helps communities, and provides many advantages for employers as new talent pools are opened. This session explores these advantages & the impacts of inclusive hiring.

SPEAKER BIO

Mallory Herrin, the CEO and Principal HR Consultant of HerrinHR, is an experienced human resources consultant and industry-recognized thought leader, serving small and mid-size businesses. As a consultant, Mallory is responsible for guiding the human resources function for a wide range of clients across a variety of industries throughout the United States. She creates and implements HR strategies for each of her clients across all areas of HR based on forecasting business needs, to support her clients’ short-term and long-term goals and growth plans.
